My first introduction to embodiment was yoga. I became a yoga teacher in 2020 while also studying shiatsu bodywork massage. I became fascinated with Traditional Chinese Medicine and was introduced to Qigong as a mind/body practice. I researched Qigong training and was impressed by Yuan Tze’s contemporary methods and outlook and the emphasis of a calm, relaxed and natural state. I teach both qigong and yoga and find that the body movements, with their work on qi and prana open up the practitioner to deeper inner work and introspection. My goal is to help people in whatever ways they are open.
I first came to Ren Xue for the natural movement, the outside work. Then I stayed for the relaxed state, the inside work. Then I return for the calm, in order to integrate.
