Transforming unhealthy patterns is the core focus of Ren Xue life cultivation because it facilitates the breakdown of the false self and the manifestation of the True Self. Between 2022 - 2025 Ren Xue retreats were dedicated to this work through exploring the Ten Fundamental Patterns, by focusing on two patterns during each retreat.
Through this work cultivating the heart qualities and going into the “deep water zone” with the ten fundamental patternse we have gotten to know ourselves better and our effort has yielded many positive changes. However, that was just the beginning, merely a small step on the path of realization and wisdom. It is necessary to keep moving forward.
This current series provides an opportunity to deepen our work on developing realization and wisdom. Yuan Tze will take us through this process by using a different focus for each retreat in order to approach the work in a comprehensive way. The first retreat in this new series is now available as replay, the following four will take place live over 2026/27 in Mexico, Germany, New Zealand and online.
Growing Realization & Wisdom #1
This new series of retreats with Yuan Tze provides an opportunity to deepen our work on developing realization and wisdom. Yuan Tze will take us through this process by using a different focus for each retreat in order to approach the work in a comprehensive way.
At this first retreat of the Growing Realization and Wisdom retreat series, Yuan Tze asked the question, Are you Ready to Change? by exploring the following five core topics:

Seeing Your Original Face #5
At this final retreat of the Seeing Your Original Face series, that happened in Winterberg, Germany - Friday 23rd May - Sunday 1st June (CEST), Yuan Tze took us through the work on two patterns: Stubbornness and Competitiveness. These two patterns have their roots on the deepest level of human consciousness and human nature. They hinder our growth and our ability to live the true potential of our lives. At this retreat, we will gain insight on how these patterns play a part in shaping human life for individuals and for humanity as a whole, especially in causing problems on all levels of human society.
Yuan Tze walks us to the depths of our heart and consciousness to meet these patterns face to face and disentangle them from the ground they attach to. When life is no longer restricted by these patterns, there will be no more conflict with ourselves nor with others. Life will open to a whole new space with true openness and freedom. We will enjoy harmony with ourselves, with others, and with nature. Humanity will then be ready to move up to a higher level.

Seeing Your Original Face #4
In this fourth retreat in the Seeing Your Original Face series, which took place from Dunedin New Zealand in November 2024, we focussed on the patterns of Unfounded Suspicion and Negativity. These two patterns can be so deeply entrenched in our consciousness that we are unaware of the full extent of harm they can do to life.
During the replay of this retreat Yuan Tze will take you through the process of going deep into your heart and consciousness to unlock the door to your True Self. With the support of a Qifield enriched with profound wisdom and powerful Qi, your True Self may start to awaken.

This is the third retreat where our focus is shedding the false self to reveal the True Self by transforming patterns. Each retreat we continue to deepen our work and focus directly on two of the Ten Fundamental Patterns identified by Ren Xue. At this retreat, which took place in California in April 2024, we focussed on Self-Centeredness and Greediness.
A very strong Qifield supports all that we aim to achieve, including deepening our understanding of these patterns, opening our heart so it can better communicate with the True Self, and most importantly, the manifestation of realization and wisdom, which is the key to transforming these patterns. Seeing Your Original Face #2
When life is controlled by unhealthy patterns, the True Self and its wisdom cannot manifest. Life will inevitably be the work of the ignorance of the false self. This puts life on the path of creating all kinds of problems. Consequently, natural qualities of life such as health, true happiness, a sense of wellbeing, and growth will not have a chance to manifest
The focus of this 10-day retreat, which took place in France in May 2023, is to work intensively on two of the Ten Fundamental Patterns identified by Ren Xue: Polarized Thinking and Over-Generalization in order to make headway in our effort to shed the false self and let the True Self manifest.
This replay shares recordings of Yuan Tze's daily teachings from France, as well as offering Yuan Gong instruction and practice sessions, but not the full in-person retreat program.

Seeing Your Original Face
In November 2022, for the first time in 3 years after the pandemic, Yuan Tze took a group of 115 people in-person and 190 people online through a special internal journey to shed the false self and realize the True Self.
